Long shot I know, but anyone got a copy of Only War they don't want any more? Happy to pay/swap. I have Black Crusade and Deathwatch, plus the Black Crusade GM screen.

Re: Nurgle Blood Bowl team Age of Sigmar conversion project

Update time! With my new airbrush arrived, I can finally get to painting. Spent about an hour, mabye an hour and a half getting a good undercoat on the team. Did a touch of airbrush highlighting, then applied a liberal coating of Typhus Corrosion all over the warriors. While that was drying, I've be...

Nurgle Blood Bowl team Age of Sigmar conversion project

Now that's a title! They said it couldn't be done! They said the models were too large, the bases too huge, the poses too awkward! Well, maybe they were right. Either way, I'm currently working on a Chaos/Nurgle team using a bunch of models, specifically the Stormcast Eternals, as Chaos Warriors. I ...

Re: Wyld Stallyns - Eternal league Team

Yeah, OBBLM is great but it does have a few issues...

Once you get used to it though it's alright.

You've managed to create the team already! I'll whack some SPPs on there for your free starting skills and get Matt to create the match you had, one mo.

Re: Primarch Party Bus vs Imperial Guard Tank Bonanza

I've written it all up properly with formatting and picture etc on the Blog, find it here . Here's it all as a chunk of text, though: Me and George (the Space Wolf player I’ve clashed with a number of times) decided to dust off the models and have a good old fashioned scrap. He asked if I minded tha...

Primarch Party Bus vs Imperial Guard Tank Bonanza

Hello all, So HistoricalGeorge and I had a game of 40k (or 30k) last night. It was 3,000 points, Sons of Horus versus Imperial Guard. I had a Stormlord, Shadowsword, couple of Russes, Basilisks, three Chimeras, around 80-85 guardsmen and a few Inquisition chumlies. George had sixteen models. Five Pr...

Online Blood Bowl League Management

Hi all, Just to say here as well. There's an online blood bowl league management kit that I'm using, hosted by the NAF, to run the Old Duke league. It's found here. Make sure you select Bristol Vanguard as the league from the drop down menu! You should be able to log in with your NAF name, password ...

Elfin' all over the world vs Nightwing's Chaos Dwarfs | 2-2 TD | 1-8 :o CAS | 0-2 RIP ...So! What a game! Trumpkin's Imperial Knight

Hi all. Normally when I paint stuff I'm painting for a deadline, like a big game coming up. That, or I get all excited and start rushing, so the model isn't as nice as I want it to be. Not too long ago I traded for an Imperial Knight, and I resolved to absolutely not rush it at all so it could be as...

It could still go either way, but is probably leaning more towards weds atm, as the others have a regular meeting on Thursday. Its still possible, it just means some people might miss half the session (unless we start late, which is possible too).

Yeah, BIG is probably not the best plan. Duke is good, and we may potentially have a house in Central(ish) Bristol we can use.

Some of the other players I may have joining say they'd prefer to do the game on a Wednesday instead of a Thursday. Is that still good with you?
