Re: 17th

Hmm thinking about it I'm pretty sure it was an illness that a paladin could get rid of easily.

Yeah I'm not really doing great at committing to stuff and actually showing up at the moment so I'm dropping out. If anyone wants the book to continue running this let me know and I'll drop it off at the Duke sometime.

Calling it then. Probably not going to be around for ninja warrior, could do with a quiet evening watching cartoons.

Also not going to be here the following week as I'm watching Carcass at the Marble Factory.

Also Josh it may be too late, but could you bring the DM screen and the monster manual so I don't have to try and remember the tempremant of a quaggoth from memory?

Re: ...but where next?

I've checked further on in the book and the other mushrooms actually look surprisingly like that, stool must just be a child or something. Also... UPDATE!!! Upon hearing your intentions to head to Neverlight, Shuushar the Kuo Toa says the quickest way would be go go to sloobludop and acquire a boat ...

Err... I'll have to check the book.

So it looks like this week we'll be finding out if mushrooms live in houses, what the mushroom king looks like, and if the mushroom people have a legal system.

Re: ...but where next?

I could do with some consensus by this evening so I can do some reading about where you're going. If Chris and Merrick don't say anything I'll assume you're going to Neverlight. Even though Merrick isn't here this week (i think I remember him saying this last week) he should have some input about wh...

...but where next?

From where you are there's 3 exits to the outpost, north, west, and south. Buppido the Derro suggests you head south and will guide you to Gracklstugh, a town where he claims you can acquire better equipment. Prince Derrendil the quaggoth who used to be an elf has no useful directions to offer, but ...

Re: Dragon campaign wash up

Also loot, could have probably done with a couple more cool bits and pieces thrown around, felt like a long time between anything dropping. I think my sorc ended up with the only thing equipped being the war wand which was bought in the 3rd last session. Could do with stuff between the rod of fish c...

Re: Dragon campaign wash up

Flanking: giving advantage overshadows class abilities that do the same (barbarian reckless attack etc). I may change it back to how it was in 4th ed for flanking. Flat +2 to attack rolls, and if you manage to gain actual advantage through class abilities/something cool then you can have the reroll...

Re: Rage of demons

So, there's not a huge amount of preamble. Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark, a realm of endless labyrinthine tunnels and caverns where the sun never shines. The Underdark is filled with races and creatures too numerous to count or list, and foremost among these are the dark e...

Re: Rage of demons

Best thing to represent something with finesse currently would be the dual wield battlemaster fighter. You get a limited number of points per rest to do cool stuff like lead enemies around, sidestep, etc.
