Yep, I'm looking to get back into 40k when 8th drops next week.

I would concur with Josh that most things seem to be sorted on FB now...

Kill Team

I know there are a few folk play Kill Team at BIG.

I have a bunch of marine infantry 90s mostly some 80s :o and a few up to date bits like scouts and assaults marines.

To play Kill Team would I just need the box set that have in GW or do I need up to date codexs, etc?

Re: Deadzone 2nd Ed

Having now had a chance to read the new rules plus have a brief read of the Battle Report on Deadzone 2.0 in Tabletop Gaming looks like the game runs much smoother and quicker. If anyone wants to play through a mission or two one evening at The Duke or BIG (or at mine in Keynsham) let me know.

Re: Bear Wars III?

Format previously was, before matches start you choose a 'Hanger' of ships worth 200pts, for each match you choose up to 100pts of ship from your Hanger but they must be as in the Hanger i.e. if you have an X-wing with Torpedo's that's what you must take you can't just take the X-wing. Re: GW lose a legal battle!

In my mind, if you greenstuff/CAD up a design that is for all intents and purposes exactly the same as the original GW item (assuming it is peripheral to miniature rather than the whole thing e.g. gun/backpack/basic helmet) that ones one thing, if you are just casting/scanning stuff and reproducing ...
