Re: Slow campaigning

Shaolin wolf - no reason why can't do small scale if want to use chaos. trumpkin - i have some ideas but don't see why we can't be reactive and make up some scenarios as we go as a result what happens in games. As long as they're fun it shouldn't matter if they're fair. Have a few ideas so will post...

Re: Slow campaigning

Thinking about it, there's no reason why any BFG or Epic players couldn't get involved either.
Could still link in to regular 40K games

Slow campaigning

Like slow cooking, but without the washing up. Would anyone be interested in a non-competitive narrative campaign? Am looking for an opponent(s) for some friendly games linked together in a common narrative, with some custom scenarios/ missions. Have played a few linked mini-campaigns in the past bu...

Re: 40k Playing Depreciation

I'm looking at getting back to playing but am probably going to be dropping 40K for a while and trying Infinity for mainly the same reasons as already stated. I don't play that often so have trouble keeping up with new additions/ codexs. Cost and required size of forces is an issue. Have sold off my...

Re: Which armies do you play?

Space Marines though not played in 6 months and will need to source a 7th ed rulebook.
Also Orks but need new codex and a unit or 2 to make playable.
Looking to get back to playing but its unlikely to be more than once a month. Anyone else in the same boat?

Re: One last call for bits.

I *may* have a metal bolter from the really old Predator kit that may suit.
Unless it would topple the tank over.
If this would suffice let me known and I'll look for it.

Re: Farsight Fluff

Oh I assumed the farsight shoulder pads was some sort of uniform for the enclave, sort of cut ties with the empire and be "caste" anew.

Re: Farsight Fluff

Well the enclave rules haven't put me off- so about those enclave ensign?
Just seen a riptide photo and they have the generic tau ensign moulded onto the chest? That would be a shame as I'm a stickler for uniformity

Farsight Fluff

Hi, I'm considering restarting a Tau army (after foolishly selling the old one off) as a long-winded hobby and am thinking of Farsight Enclave 'cos I'm a sucker for fluff. I know GW do Farsight fire warrior pads and transfers (?) for vehicles, but do any other models have the generic Tau ensign moul...
