Re: Star Wars RPG

Better have a high Bluff/lie score then.

"What ... ME?! ... Nooo, I'm a professional. Look how they've shaved against the grain just here. And those 2 nicks under the ... under the ... (whispers: what are those?), such sloppy work. And the stubble! Man is that gonna itch."

Re: Star Wars RPG

Bagsy shaving Liam the first chance I get to medically treat him (under the guise of medicinal hygiene of course!)

Mmmm, actually, if I'm gonna do that .... maybe someone else needs to be the medic. :?

Re: Star Wars RPG

I'll be the Medic ... provided there are no dogs about. I tend to "one bite die" when I'm a medic, even at full health.

Re: Star Wars RPG

I was 10 when Star Wars came out just before summer recess and I watched it almost every other day during the holidays. Over 30 times during the 8 week break. Last time I played Star Wars I ended up on the end of a 20' rope being dragged behind a Wookie piloted speeder bike thru the superstructure o...

Re: Rumours - Domain of The Ginger Prince

I can't see GW dropping the individual army books in favour of a group Good Guys/Bad Guys one as it goes against their "add-on" culture. Why sell a person one book once a year that can be used for multiple armies when they know the majority of gamers run race specific armies, and therefore...

I'm happy to play with whatever someone is willing to run. If they go to the effort of running it,I'll happily and appreciatively play it.

Re: Shadow Run -late 2014

All of the above please! Seriously I'm not fussed what I play so long as there is an emphasis on the roleplaying side of it and playing/speaking in character. I tend to play a stealthy techie reflex character. Either a Dwarven Drone Rigger or an Ork Gunslinger Adept with a preference for scenarios w...

I'm interested, but I don't want to over commit myself. Are you thinking this would be a regular weekly thing?

Re: Dave paints stuff

That is some seriously shiny paintwork. The feathers really pop and I'm loving the way the blue interacts with the armour. What paints/colors did you use for the blue and the armour?

Seb you read my mind. I too want to know about airbrushes so I can take my painting up a notch. Like you I'm prepared to spend out for something decent.

Re: Let's beat the Pew Pew 40K girls. Why warhammer is the b

Was that the version with Sven Hasslefriessan and his steam boat the Volts Vagon?

If so it had a plan view layout of the steamship I've been after for ages if anyone has one. I'm trying to re-create it in 3D for our upcoming Mordheim Ahoy! games.

Re: Let's beat the Pew Pew 40K girls. Why warhammer is the b

I got into 40K back in the days of Rogue Trader, Targeting grids, and toys that were affordable when I saw some on my first leave from the Army. In those days GW had the perfect business plan of getting the kids in, letting them paint ANYTHING in the store, with store paint, in the knowledge that th...

That is such a handy little post. I can now put peoples names to forum names that I've been "typing" to for years. We should have one of these for all the club members.
