So do many folks play Titan armies? I see a few lists for them, was wondering how they work out...

I haven't yet but I'm considering it. My impression is that they tend to be played for fun over ability. You'll nearly always be out activated but should be able to kill a few units per turn.

I've only ever played against one. He took 4 Reavers but made the mistake of walking one into range of my three Shadowswords. I then got luck and he got very unlucky. I caused it quite a lot of damage, one of which critted. In the end phase that crit then destroyed his Reaver, which also happened to be his BTS.
Even before the meltdown I was massively out activating him. Due to his slow(ish) speed I knew where his titans were going to go, towards objectives. This meant that I could often manoeuvre around him and leave him with very few targets once he got to activate again.

Having said all of that I'm still going to try one one day.

I was thinking it might just be good for a laugh. As well as the two Warhounds i'm using for my Marines I've got a couple of ancient Warlords and a bunch of knights to throw in the paint-stripper. Bung in some Infantry too (I cant remember which list allows all this.. NetEA? its still experimental) and there might be enough variety.

It should be fun.

Yeah, there are NetEA experimental and 'under development' lists (http://traitor-legion.appspot.com/indexNETEA.html). There's also two EpicUK lists (http://taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/view ... 22&t=28407) which look interesting.
