Sadly ben, because the arrows count as magical weapons the flaming banner doesn't actually effect them! But aside from that I totally agree, the army has a few more options now that I might consider running, but previously I did run a very mixed army anyway.

(just take a 10 man unit with Starfire Arrows and you'll have much the same effect as the small unit mentioned)

I thought we were playing nice. No swearing or abuses of MOD rights at all.

Having lost the last few minutes of my life to reading through the "duplicate or not duplicate" thread on the Warhammer Forum, I have come to the following conclusion... RAW = no duplication. Rules As Intended = duplication allowed.

Please note, no gamers have been intentionally or unintentionally harmed or called an idiot, during the writing of this reply.

It's all about the big unit having poison!! It's just so good, as a Lizardmen player I know and love those 6s (just in the right phase!!)

Having this on units with 30" range is a skinks wet dream!!

Oh and your comment about Rossi's DP made me laugh hard!!

One final thing to check, apparently there is a conflict between the iBook and the Hardback version for the cost of Treemen, everyone happy that I use the price out the hardback version?

Sadly I will no longer be lifting the trophy, celebrating further glory, as we have a double wedding at work. Best of luck to everyone. Remember you are not only competing for pride but also to take the fabled Golden Samurai from. Rossi's grasp!

All Woods Count as Citadel Woods...

Who is bringing the 6 foot by 4 foot or otherwise ridiculously sized wood then?

It's the reverse, for WE to put free wood on table it states it must be a citadel wood, GW marking their territory (fair enough) but for non GW hosted tourneys ignorable.

There are stories of people actually turning up to tournaments with oversized woods! I was under the impression the Citadel Wood reference related not only to GW trying to get people to buy Citadel Woods, but to the size of it.

From memory I think the citadel one is bigger than the 6x6 wood that tournament organisers limited Welfs to. Im not for a minute suggesting that people go and get citadel woods - I dont mind what type of trees they are, as long as the wood is of a reasonably similar size.

If people want to engulf the table with trees there is a 100 point magic item that lets you do it!

The Citadel one is 8x6 (roughly), so an equivalent version would be fine - just don't take the piss?
