Double falcon would be cool, bit boring though, surely it's the equivalent of taking two imperial knights ;)

Or two riptides :ugeek:

No idea what the points allow. For coolness reasons vader is in, if enough points are left maybe two pro tie wingmen, or 4 scrubs, or 2 scrubs and a tie bomber.

Vader is 29 basic. You can easily get vader, 2 named fighters & 2 unnamed pilots with about 10 points left for upgrades

Hey guys!

Just a small update to let you know I'm still working hard on making this event awesome!!!

So far we have 3 paid entrants but a LOT of interest, the Duke has 6 tables so that limits us at 12 players with maybe some space to add an extra table in if it gets that popular. I have just sent Matt an outline of info to be sent out to all members via E-mail & am hopefully going to prepare some posters to go up in a couple of local stores (once I've contacted them for permission). Prizes will go to First place & the good old wooden spoon. Liam has also come up with a great idea for rewarding the "best" general from each faction with a special little prize I will keep secret until the day. "Best" doesn't necessarily mean "highest placed" I am currently working with Matt & Liam as to decide best of what will be the requirement, I will let you know once we come to a decision.

There we have it that's how things stand, I'm really looking forward to the event & if people who are able to make it could get ticket sales in nice & quick the quicker I can get on with sorting the trophy & getting boards sorted, then if we hit enough players to pay for the "extra" prizes I will get straight on them. Just so you have an idea I anticipate we need 4-5 entrants to cover the first place & wooden spoon prizes, a further 2-3 to cover black cloth (if anyone has any spare they can donate or a matt they can bring along on the day or know where I can get some cheap black cloth please get in touch) & then 4-5 will cover the "extra prizes" so 10 players paid & I reckon we can get all the prizes I'd like to get.

Any further questions feel free to ask away!

It's pretty thin , 3 or 4 mm . I like playing on it as you don't the little fibres snagging on the bases like you can do with cloth sometimes

Ill bring my mat so thats 1 less you'll need.
For the best general, how about a player vote. Everybody has a single anonymous vote for one of the people they played against, the person from each faction with the most votes wins, in the case of a tie then whoever placed higher.

I'll bring my mat as well. I'm not sure it's perfectly 3x3 as a couple of the angles are a bit wonky but it does the job fine.

Ginjasy, I like that idea. :)

Are you able to squeeze 2 games on 1 table to get more people in?

I am indeed =p, it is, I am hoping they update it soon, if it hasn't been updated a week before the event I will make a decision which I expect will be to allow the imperial aces pack. Unless anyone has any serious objections

They are fun to fly & I haven't seen anything broken. Plus the upgrade cards are available to both factions!

Which faction are you? I have a number of ships from each which you're welcome to borrow for the day. I may not be free to play so don't mind... (I'm actually hoping my big ship will have arrived by then so I can turn up and play silly-buggers with an illegal force :D).

How can you have two falcons?

The ship is unique, never seen lots built.

I'll take 4 ships.

With a touch of blind ignorance.
