Buying D&D Players Handbook - Advice Wanted

Postby Azzabat » Wed Nov 11, 2015 10:37 pm

So I've finally decided that D&D with its D20 system is alright and not as scary as I thought it was. I now want to invest in a copy of The Players Handbook so that I can stop asking people "What I need to do?" and "Where does that come from?"

There do seem to be an awful lot of books out there though, so which one should I be buying? And where's the best place to get it from?

Are the pages all still well attached to the spine?

I know some of the guys are having problems with the pages coming adrift from the main book.

You can also buy one from either Area 51 or Excelsior in Bristol.

Yeah, only realised how old the thread was after I hit Submit. Still, it's useful to know where the books can be purchased within the city. :-)
