Hmm, this is more popular than I thought it might be, I don't want to go above 6 players so I'll operate it on a first signed up first served basis. So I'll put Dave, Dalkius and Dan on a reserves list on the main post and I'll let you know if spaces open up.

Have the rest of you thought about when you want to do the first session yet? I'm good for pretty much any day so if you put on here the days you can't do we can get a clearer idea of when we can do this. I'm thinking maybe an evening next week?

Excellent, it's looking like it's going to be Thursday 10th then. Just waiting on Stu, Merrick, and Preston to state their availability, I'll probably PM them later in case they're not checking the thread anymore.

With regards to group composition, I would strongly recommend that you have someone that can use computers, pilot (Planetary and space), astronavigate and a doctor. 1 person can do multiples of these roles so it's not so bad.

I'll be the Medic ... provided there are no dogs about. I tend to "one bite die" when I'm a medic, even at full health.

Sup.

Thursday 10th is fine by me.
I'll be the guy holding a cider and swearing at the dice.

I also have a fine collection of wooden spoons.

That's fine by me.

Happy as a reserve with generating a character that can always "hop-in-and-out" of the plot/storyline in the event of other player absence/shortage?

Bagsy shaving Liam the first chance I get to medically treat him (under the guise of medicinal hygiene of course!)

Mmmm, actually, if I'm gonna do that .... maybe someone else needs to be the medic. :?

Dave - yes that's no problem, I'm used to running with quite a fluid membership.

CJ - Yes, after all a doctor with no arms isn't going to be much use to the team after your first attempt at Liams hair

Better have a high Bluff/lie score then.

Is there a character that specialises in getting drunk and swearing when stuff goes wrong?

Stick to what you know, as they say.....

Drunk fighter? I dunno.

The classes and specializations are below (you pick a class, then pick a specialization in that class. Although to be honest most specs can do most things, it just costs a bit more xp)

Bounty Hunter
-Assassin
-Gadgeteer
-Survivalist

Colonist
-Doctor
-Politico
-Scholar

Smuggler
-Pilot
-Scout
-Theif

Technician
-Mechanic
-Outlaw Tech
-Slicer

Hired Gun
-Bodyguard
-Marauder
-Mercenary

Explorer
-Fringer
-Scout
-Trader

Has anyone got the book at the moment? I couldn't see it when I glanced up to where I left it at the Duke yesterday. (It may well still be in the duke, I didn't really make any effort to look for it)

Sorry, I took it to have a quick read. I intended to put it back once I'd scanned through it... I forgot to do either.

I'll be there from around 5 so anytime after that is good, I doubt we'll actually start until around 7 though since I think most people need to make their characters so we'll be working through that.
