Josh, when are you free for our game?

Stu won the top of the table clash last night, seems Tom's team decided to forget how to play!

I think his dice were mainly to blame. Nothing he tried worked.

His coach did nothing all game, on the few occasions he managed to roll a 5 it wasn't any use. His guards couldn't slam, one got counter-slammed and injured for 2 turns... by a Jack! His Strikers were largely absent. One got killed on turn 1 by a run-interference play! The other then got hit by the ball as it launched and taken out for 3 turns. The final one got slammed and KOed for 2 turns. When they were no the pitch they fell over.

It seemed that the only 6s he could roll were for the ball launch.

While I'll happily take the win the game was really spoiled by Tom's bad luck. It's not fun to play a game where someone gets SO screwed over by the dice (well, maybe a little fun :D).

oh oh ... seems I have competition for "Lord of the Unlucky Dice"! I had the same thing against Adrian this week. 4 attempts at 3/4 pointers with 2/3 dice needing 4+ ... nah! Guards injuring themselves slamming Jacks, and drawing all the cards for positions my team doesn't have. I feel your pain Tom.
I know the voices aren't real ... but they have such FASCINATING ideas!

I dont wanta talk about it. Stu out played me and my dice well they dont exist anymore traitorous bastards.
5 nil
no four pointers
1 kill to stu
6 pips to 4

with freezing people when it says lose a skill what happens if he has no skill but 3+ speed do I loose the speed bonus?

keeper is bad, its not great but at least it makes his armour 3+, just remember he can now pick up the ball so running through it to scatter it would count as a failed pick up, or it bouncing into him would count as a failed catch (unless you used a coaching dice) & end your rush.

As for freezer burn, not entirely sure as I don't have my book on me, what is the exact wording on freezer burn & where it describes your level up, does it count +1 skill as a "skill" or as a stat increase or something else

It's lose an ability. A skill increase is not an ability so he cannot lose it. If that is the only thing he had then he makes a full recovery.

I'm free Friday evening before board games if you want to play our game?

Alternatively I may be free in Thursday. Will know tomorrow.

Unfortunately work says no to Thursday. Can still do Friday (from 4ish onwards) or pretty much any time over the weekend. Let me know what works for you.

If it helps we have to push back division 2 by a week so you can play next week.

Can I just hand victories to my opponents, due to a series of events I don't really have a team anymore.

If you need to borrow anything, I can bring a team around for you. If you're an underdog, don't worry - it's only Zees you'll be playing! I was three players down after my first game, but I've managed to crawl my way back up to a starting roster. Just in time for Buzzcut to eat them like corn flakes :P
