Have a look at the hangars and politely post if anyone has made any mistakes or I have missed anything when copying it over.

Looks like we're going to have two conferences with a bye in one due to the odd numbers. I will do the draw tomorrow and post the Format and fixtures.

Al, can you please post at least some of the point values for your pilots and upgrades?!

It should have been in the format requested Dom. Or at least something close. Squadron builder doesn't really help as players are going to need to cut and paste from here to do their reports and check his lists.

Rebels lead the lists! I did not see that coming. And a nice variation thoughout. This format is great for encouraging experimental attitude.

Cai's hangar is my favourite. Hopefully I'll get to play it.

Already been on the wrong side of Cai's Luke, Wedge, Jake list and he's now made Luke nastier.
I like/fear Mangler Ten Numb in Al's hanger and with the welcome return of Jan Ors it's gonna autosting.
Sam's bug zappers are also gonna be awkward for me; I only have 29 hit points in my whole hanger.

who is the 5th HWK? I see 3 Palobs & 1 spice runner. NO Torkul Mux!!! & he's the one that's been being raved about online as the best in the HWK!!

Palob is clearly better in isolation, but then it's not unlike the internet to get things wrong.

Torkil has just gotten much worse, since he was the anti-Phantom ship really - his ability is nice against Fel and the new Phantoms, but it destroyed the old ones.

I did bring almost half of the Tie Fighters, but I suppose that was expected. The amount of Rebel control builds look very interesting.

Man, I am so glad there are almost no other stress mechanics in these hangars. I think I only have to watch out for one other tactician, one Rebel captive, and a couple of flechette torpedoes. That means my All-Star Heroes of the Galaxy can rampage around without having to think about being double stressed...

James, I'll play you in a friendly game outside of the regular matches, if you want. :D

LOL, apparently I may have misunderstood Tycho/SoT/Stress/dial handover mechanic or rather it has been FAQ'd

Edit: Yep, I'm not up to speed on X-wing errata/ mechanics apparently :)

yes, yes she is, I checked the list 3 times as well!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

the change in the FAQ makes NO difference to how Mux effects phantoms, he reduces their PS at the start of the combat phase, Phantoms work the same way they always have in the combat phase, he also is only good against Soontir if your opponent has let you shoot Soontir or you've flown really well, in which case you would have killed Fel anyway, you just take 3/4 dice less at one of your ships.

We deffo expected you to bring 50% of the Tie fighters :lol: :lol:

I think it's more that previously Torkil was one of the only scum options to take on a Phantom - Torkil to counter ACD, and then support cannons to take them out/ion them/whatever.

Now you can just block them with Z's (potentially), it's a whole lot less scary.

yeah it is easier for other ships to block their moves so it makes Torkul a little less required. you still have to second guess their move (which is as it should be) so its still not "easy" but it certainly is easier than before

Ian will update with the draw and format soon - basically we're going to be put in separate conferences, and have to play each other member of that conference, before matching up scores and having a play-off.

Or something of that nature.
