Turn 1 Game-Fri 7/11

Brigadier Isadore Breckenridge-Defoe silently studied the reports in front of him. No words were said, but there was no escaping the atmosphere: the news was not good. A few more minutes passed, and finally the Brigadier looked up and reached for his freshly prepared tea. It was if the liquid brought colour back to the whole room as it warmed him, the red tunics of his men suddenly more vivid. Finally he spoke up.

'Well I'm afraid it doesn't look like the Astartes have had much luck seeing off this blighted menace, what?' The gathered Colonels didn't respond, not quite sure they had yet gauged his mood. He lifted his ceremonial battle helmet from the desk, then pulled a handkerchief from the top drawer. Polishing the brass badge on the helmet intently, a tight smile finally began to emerge from beneath his bushy moustache.

'Looks like it's time we showed these scoundrels what old fashioned manpower and gumption is capable of, eh?'



SO, any of you dastardly chaos traitors available for a game against my Guard next Friday? I'm free the whole day/evening....

I love this.

Campaign wise, this doesn't fit within the whole turn-based thing, but as the campaign is a loosey-goosey one, if people want random games, that's cool. Just know that it'll not count towards any smaller missions etc

You can of course wait until the Imperial turn, then you'll potentially get bonuses etc

Nothing wrong with having a gentlemans agreement with your opponent to carry something over to the next game you play against them though

I know... But problem for me is because I don't have a great deal of free time to play, when I have the hours spare I feel the need to announce it ahead of time. So if we want the game to be one that counts a little more, lets just say an opponent can declare the challenge to me on that date ;-) otherwise, a games a game as far as i'm concerned.

Oh, I can only make it to the Duke as well... BIG is just a little out of the way for me.

Absolutely. I just don't want to get too complicated! If people are challenging their opponents to games in their opponents turns that impact the games that they'll have on their own team's turns that are independent from established mission limits but still affect subsequent missions... aagh my braaain...

The Sons of Magnus the Red hold the tunnel system under the eastern mountain range and are now bringing up supplies from the orbiting ship docks to fortify there position.

If an imperial force is located within the eastern planes then the Thousand Sons will spill there blood in offering and wipe them from the face of the planet.

Scouts are on the look out!

At the Duke suits me best. I'm free all day Friday, though I'd prefer from 4.pm onwards. Can do earlier though.

As for points, I'm easy. Can go pretty high. Are we attempting one of the scenarios?
