Re: AoS - Upcoming releases
So there is definitely fluff in the book. Apparantly each faction will get at least one or two pages of fluff. In addition the book goes deeper when it comes to some of them. For example Slaanesh Hosts have 24 pages for themselves. The surviving followers of Slaanesh are now separated between Pretenders, Seekers and Invaders. Each have their own specific way of either venerating or aiming to replace Slaanesh.

If you wonder if Slaanesh followers are now more PG13, here is an excerpt from a page called "Unbound Revel":

"Counted among the most powerful of the Invaders, the Keeper of Secrets Xia'slae'shesos is dedicated utterly to the expression of his most twisted urges upon mortal flesh. He has surrounded himself with an army of degenerate pleasure seekers, whom he leads in monstrous rampages across the realms

There are 15 Warscrolls Battalions in the book on top of the 158 regular Warscrolls.

- Clan Skryre
- Blood Host of Khorne (1 Bloodthirster + 7 or more units of Khorne Daemons in any combinations, in the hero phase pick D3 units that are within 3" of enemy models, they can pile in and attack with one weapon. Pick D6 units instead if there are 16 or more units in the Battalion)

Blood Host is accompanied by fluff regarding the way armies of Khorne are structured (for all of their savagery they actually have a very rigid structure). Right below Khorne are the Bloodthirsters of the Anger Incandescent Host. Each command 8 BT from the tiers below, each of them in turn commanding 8 BT from the tiers below and so on.

1- Anger Incandescent
2- Seething Fury
3- Wrath of Khorne
4- Apoplectic Ire
5- Infernal Outrage
6- Insensate Rage
7- Executionner of Khorne
8- Unfettered Fury

Rumours about upcoming AoS releases:

Darnok (obviously reliable): look for upcoming campaign books and Grand Alliances Battletomes. No date info.

Squiggly (reliable): look for Metal Dwarves and Battle for Allpoints campaign book in near future. Also new Wyvern for orcs after Fyreslayer artwork and Hierotitan for undead.

Larry Vela on BOLS (unreliable): next battletomes in order are: undead (Hierotitan centerpiece); orcs (very wild aesthetics); and metal Duardin (Golem centerpiece).

Oh and the info page on Fyreslayers lodges seems to have given the name of Malerion's faction: the Shadowkin. Usually a name leak means the faction will be released in not so much time. Like Fyreslayers being all around hinted in the AoS intro book.

The following factions are all reported to be coming in Q1-2, arriving before summer. Note that these are not said to be coming one after another and 40K/30K are going to be interspersed in here.

Each faction will feature a large “centerpiece kit”

Undead (said to be the next Age of Sigmar Faction after Fyreslayers)
There will some type of large undead giant coming with them.
Oruks
Look for the new range to emphasize the “savage” aspect of the greenskins.
Duardin
These are said to have a very different aesthetic from the Fyreslayers.
Their centerpiece model is described as a large humanoid construct

Duardin's centrepiece model it seems could be the living ancestor mini that has been talked about for so long.

Might be tempted if true, as Dwarfs in KoW have Troll sized Stone guys and bigger, monster sized ones.

The AoS-themed boxed game you’ll see this summer was finished by the time the AoS starter was released.

We’ve had pretty solid rumors pop-up that the Destruction Grand Alliance is on the way for Age of Sigmar. We’re not sure what all will be included in these new kits but there has been mention of newer, more ferocious looking “Oruks” and an update to the Ogors, previous rumors said there would also be a new plastic wyvren as the centerpiece model! That would be inline with all the new centerpiece big models we’ve seen for the other factions. Plus, it has to be better then the previous Finecast incarnation:

Longtime rumormonger Mikhael is back with more info on the Destruction release:

via mikhael 2-27-2016

“We will see new Kits in March. It’s not a Book only release.”
This, of course, lines up with what he mentioned earlier this week:
via mikhael 2-23-2016

“Orcs and Goblins / Destruction in March are the next release for Age of Sigmar.”

From what I've been told about March's O&G releases, we'll see a big monster, an infantry unit, a cavalry unit, and several clampack characters. Plus the obvious book of course.

Sorry everybody, Destruction will be April, not March. It seems like some Skaven repacks, more Stormcasts and something Khorne is coming during March.

Re: AoS - Upcoming releases

Sad Panda did confirm that a sizeable Stormcast release is incoming.

Natfka is claiming this week preorders are Start Collecting Skeleton Horde; SC Pestilens, Battletome Pestilens and Realmgate Wars: Warbeasts. I have not been able to confirm this, but I don't have reasons to believe it to be false (except for naming it "Skeleton Horde" instead of "Deadrattle" but nvm).

Next week painting hint is "Knight on Shinning armour". Next week issue hint is "The Chamber Excélsior opens". Confirmed.

Crossing this info with the timeline on BoP, which ends with Draconion's roar and something stirring in the Chamber, I'am guessing it is indeed true that Dracoth Cavalry is next week's release. If this will be indeed a sizeable release, the reason they were not included in BT: SC could be that this is something like a new sub-faction, something like Draconion's sions or something.

According to Squiggly on Natfka, Warzone Fenris 2 will be released after "Metal Duardin v. Tzeentch". Fenris 2 seems to focus (model release-wise) on daemons, so Tzeentch should be a double release. It is unclear whether there will be only daemons or also mortals and whether this metal Duardin and tzeentch in Chamon stuff is the rumoured box from Sad Panda or something else.

Stormcasts, Stormcasts everywhere!
Next WD for your viewing pleasure:

- Battletome Stormcast Eternals EXTREMIS (Because they're more extreme than poor regular Stormcast peasants? It's the 90s all over again!) 21€ / £15 / $25 / AU$ 99.999
88 pages, 2 battleplans, 4 battalions, 7 warscrolls ( so 2 more units than what is already in the WD, they refer to something called a Star Drake so your guess is as good as mine regarding what it will be)

- Dracothian Guards (2 mounted Stormcasts like the one in the AoS box) 55€ / £40 / $65 / AU$ your mortgage

- Knight-Heraldor (1 model) 19.5€ / £15 / $25 / AU$ a trained battle kangaroo
Yup, it's just an alternate model of the previous Heraldor. Rejoice trumpet lovers for that one has no chance of sticking his instrument in his eye!

- Tempest Lords upgrades pack 9€ / £7 / $12 / AU$ your firstborn

- Starter paint sets 28€ / £20 / $33 / AU$ your soul
3 Marines or 3 Stormcasts, with 8 mini pots and a brush. Very very costly for the content so not really designed as an entry tool for kids, it's more for parents looking for a present I suppose.

- Super Glue €7.5 / £5.25 / $8.75 / AU$ 15 (hey, it's actually the real price!)
A box of 5x0.5g of glue, for a mighty total of 2.5g... ... ... I... I... I do not... wut?

WD starts with a photo that I assume is supposed to wake up all those who still believe for some reason that AoS is a skirmish game. Now go buy 12 more Varanguards and 24 Dracothian Guards while you're at it *WHIPLASH*!

5 warscrolls inside the WD, actually one for the Lord Celestant on Dracoth and 4 for the Dracothian Guards that are actually just the 4 weapons options. Fulminators (glaives), Tempestors (not-bolters crossbow), Concussors (hammers) and Desolators (axes, which actually increase their number of attacks the more they are in the unit, 3 for 2, 4 for 4 and 6 for 6... now go buy more!)

Next week hints is something something Dracothion and Warriors of the Extremis Chambers.
