Stripes

Postby Graeme_the_Bald » Thu Aug 31, 2017 7:44 am

Stripes is due late Nov - Yay! Disappointing lack of Bradleys and Blackhawks, but maybe those will follow. USMC might be fun; Peter Pig has some lovely little USMC guys that I already have a ton of. I was going to mix them with BF to make a couple of mech platoons, but I may hold off and see what happens with the LAV-25.

Defo painting my Cobras in Marines colours, as USN ghost grey is much kewler than olive drab, in how it sounds and how it looks!

M1s are progressing. First foray into colour modulation, as they're solid forest green. Also a first foray into sculpting external stowage, which Americans can't seem to do without. Hopefully get playing soon. :D

Let me know when you're ready. I have a Soviet horde, some of which is undercoated, which you can use as target practice.
Flames Of War: Soviets
Team Yankee (6mm and 15mm): Soviets
Bolt Action: Soviets
DUST: SSU aka Soviets (anyone spotted the theme yet?)
Star Wars Armada: Imperials (Space Soviets, a long, long time ago)
Epic Armageddon: Imperials (Space Soviets, in the grim, far future)
Frostgrave: Dwarves (Short Soviets)

Also you may want to look at this as an option to include:

Scout Section 2 points
A Scout Section has one M113 from TU105 and one M901 ITV from TU106. The unit has the Scout and Spearhead special rules.

This unit will probably be in Stripes but BF just announced it for the US to use in the global campaign.

Thx Stu. Once I finish the M1s I'll be able to field 46pts of tanks with VADS air cover, so should be enough to start getting my head round some of the rules. I'll keep you posted
