Bradleys are coming in 'late' TY, along with M1A1s, Apaches, etc, so likely to be a desert/middle east setting. Main thing I'm grumpy about is the lack of Blackhawks, but it makes sense to use the Huey given the Nam/early TY revamp thats coming. Interested to see how they handle the twin engined huey the navy & marines used.
The good news is Harriers, which should be lower points than A10s, and chapparels and Sgt Yorks! And HMMMVs, which I can see being useful to tear across the field and engage enemy AA units. If I ever get time to actually play!

I was looking forward to the M1A1's also; the LAV models look great however plus the expanded range of AA (although given the creep in AA capability, I kind of feel Air support is not worth taking any longer - I certainly now look to spend my points elsewhere <on AA units funnily enough>).

Fingers crossed for Bradley's / Apache's in the near future.....

Pre-orders are up on BF site; just in time for Xmas! :)
All the new stuff looks v nice. Once the book is out I can decide if I want to go Marines or Air Mobile. Not too enamoured with mech platoons or M113s in MERDC.
My M1s are done - yay! Now working on Cobras in USMC colours (only cos it looks nicer than olive drab).
Just started a new job in Newport, but hoping to make it to the Duke at some point before I retire ...

Got to love the BF pricing structure.....
- Six Humvee - £30
- Six Humvee and Three M60 - £34.

Go figure......

I’m sure they’ll die just as cheaply! :)

Stripes is out on general release - ordered my copy today (should be with me in the next day or so). Noticed that the 6 Humvee / 3 M60 set is also available (PSC M60 renders look awesome however - I may just wait a while)

I shall be buying the Digital version later today.
If PSC are doing an M60 then I’m def waiting for that. Just hope he does HMMMVs, LAVs and AAVPs too!
I’ve decided to add HQ M113 & 2 scout sections to my 5 painted M1s & 4 VADS to make an armoured cav formation, then expand from that. Already got 4 1:100 SeaHawks to ferry my USMC around (I’ll no doubt get Hueys too). So much to do, so little time!!

PSC M60A3 is due out in Jan, with 10% off for pre-orders. That’s £19.35 for 5 tanks; can’t go wrong for that.

Does it come with driver's hatches? ;)

It does look like it! Not sure you’d fit much under the turret overhang! Certainly both turret hatches can be crewed, unlike BF M1s that needed fettling to have both open. Or Zvezda, which usually has none.

Anyone know if PSC have remediate the issue with the Leo 1 sprues yet?

Please don’t - it’s not Vietnam (no problem with Seahawks, but when Revell make very good 1/100 Blackhawks, there’s simply no need for Hueys in Mid 80’s Europe <BF simple took the easy option unfortunately>).

Not sure if you’ve seen them but I’ve painted up a couple of the Peterpig AK47 range Destroyed Humvee’s as objective markers - they are great sculpts and work well for the game ;)

Good point. I’ll see how I get on with the Seahawks (for the USMC grunts) before deciding on any more transport helis. The AAVP-7 looks pretty cool too, especially when bedecked in stowage for a full US ‘gypsy caravan’ look.

I was going to do my Cobras as USMC, in ghost grey, but will wait to see what they do with the AH1-G for ‘Nam, cos that looks more like the AH1-N than the current model.

So many great options and models now ...!
