Bristol Vanguard - Hobby Blog

Postby Monk » Sat Jul 26, 2014 3:54 pm

Ok so about this time last year we looked at doing a Vanguard hobby blog. It lasted for a few weeks before tanking.

Before I pull the plug and delete it, does anyone fancy contributing to it in order to keep it going?

I had no idea we had that.

How would one post to it?

Agree that if it is to stay it needs to be better linked into the website and have more contributors.

I can look at installing a fresh one onto this domain. Not sure how I would be able to link it to the forum though.

I'd totally forgotten people had talked about doing that! Cool to see Kev's models up there! Lots of us already have blogs where we post our own pictures - I'd be happy to copy and paste my own articles into the club one. I usually manage a couple a week.

It was too hot to sleep so thought I might do something constructive. To get the ball rolling again on the vanguard blog I've posted one of my old projects up on for people to peruse.

More to come and my next post will be about my Ork Rockers.
Well, it's been fun.

I'll get you next time gadget, ahh a classic.

I wouldn't worry about it, very few sane people own 8 (and counting) dragons, for a start they're simply poo in games of warhammer so nobody wants them. Guess if I ever took up Kaos Spash Marheenz then I'd have plenty of heldrakes to proxy into my unbound army. (hmm...)

Lmao I wish, to be honest I've toned it down a bit.

I have got a fair way painting it already, the genius of spray paint!

I can't belive how far down it sits on the flying stand it's obscene!!

Doesn't look like I can link it to the forum. Whenever you post it links to twitter which generates a fair amount of views to the blog and it's getting good feedback from people.
