Has anyone played this yet I stumbled across some videos and a web site, it looks very playable and a lot of fun. Basically old style war board game with a slightly Hollywood twist, seems to have plenty of addons and units coming its way starting with the DDAY set. It went well on KS by the look of things. Some info below if your interested. Retails around the £40 mark.

It looks like a lot of thought has gone into the game and gameplay, and there are masses of addons that are reasonably priced to keep the game fresh. I reckon you could play small or large games as it's just a matter of adding tiles to the table.

The latest core add on has gone to kickstarter which is also another chance to get some elite units ie captain miller & Steiner also included is the point Due Hoc maps.

Have you seen the scenario addons they have added to bottom of the KS, they look wicked. Carentan, Pegasus bridge, st mere eglise.

Well, the saga continues - still no Kickstarter order received (it's all been a bit of a shambles <not as bad as the DUST kickstarter thankfully>).

The last problem (there have been a few) appears to have been caused by an MS Excel 'mis-sort' at Devil-Pig Games (how hard can this Kickstarter be - honestly!).

So, I am in contact with Developers albeit it seems to take them the best part of a week to reply (but, in fairness, to date, they are replying). Next step is for me to escalate via the CC company.

Seriously, after the problems with DUST and now this, I'm NEVER going to get involved with another Kickstarter

Liam has first refusal (he's my Gaming Crack Whore); if Liam isn't interested (and assuming my Kickstarter arrives at somepoint), it will be available to buy (unopened!).....

Literally, there seems to be so many struggling Kickstarters at the moment (how hard can it be to deliver one; these are in some cases some well established companies we're talking about <DUST Studio's and Battlefront for instance>?)

I don't back kickstarters too often. And I only usually do it for companies/people that I feel I can trust. Can't wait for my ghostbusters one to arrive sometime this year (I hope). Might need to find some people to play with

Devil Pig games are not sure why I didn't receive my order as part of Release 1, but they have confirmed I'll now be included in Release 2 (due for delivery late September / early October)

All unopened - just want to get rid of it (Lost a lot of faith with the way the Kickstarter was handled and trust me, it was 100x better than the DUST KS).
